Out for a Duck! A hand-painted bottle
This ‘quacking’ design was an inspiration that came to me while I was out for a walk along the canal one spring morning. A family of ducks waddled past noisily, led by a white matriarch who reminded me of that famously named animal from a children’s story, known as Jemima Puddle-Duck.
I had a deep green bottle I did not have a design for, but after seeing the incarnation of ‘Jemima’ leading her brood along the towpath, this inspiration took shape. Now here she is on a hand-painted bottle, set off with yellow gingham-style ribbon and gold.
Decoration: Pale-yellow-green ‘Gingham-style’ ribbon bow. Gold ribbon band on the top and base.
Bling: In-bottle fairy lights.
